Consultation Forums

The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care will host consultation forums on a draft resource, which aims to improve the management of cognitive impairment using the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.

Consultation forums will be held in all states and territories, for both health consumers and health care professionals, between October and December 2013. Each consultation forum will run for approximately two hours.

They will focus on how well the draft resource:

• Raises awareness of cognitive impairment as a safety and quality issue;
• Provides a useful guide to actions, strategies and resources to improve safety and quality; and
• Demonstrates how actions can be mapped to the current NSQHS Standards.

If you are interested in participating, please complete this form, which should take less than 10 minutes. Information provided will remain confidential and be used to check that we have consulted with a wide range of participants.

After completing the form, we will be in contact to confirm your registration and to provide you with further information regarding participation, including venue details.

PLEASE NOTE: THE HEALTH CARE PROVIDER CONSULTATION FORUM IN SYDNEY IS NOW CLOSED FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST.

If you have any questions, please contact the Project Team by email or phone - cognitive.impairment@safetyandquality.gov.au or (02) 9126 3648.
