Introduction
How can the library continue to support the business school through the accreditation process?
BRASS/RUSA, AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and Emerald Group Publishing will be holding a workshop at ALA Annual 2013 in Chicago. The workshop will address the challenges facing libraries and librarians as they support business schools’ strategic directions in light of emerging AACSB accreditation emphases. It will address how the library can support the business school through the accreditation process and business librarians will share their experiences of the process. Attendance will be gratis for delegates, pre-registration is required and places are limited on a first-come, first-served basis.
In advance of the workshop, we would like to ask you, as an academic business school librarian, about your experiences of the accreditation process, any challenges that you may be facing in your role and how these challenges could be managed or overcome in the context of accreditation. Please share your thoughts and experiences with us.
The information you provide will be used to form the structure and coverage of the workshop with the aim to make it as useful as possible.
