NHS Scotland Point of Care Testing (POCT) Audit

This audit is being performed as a result of the new guidelines on PoCT endorsed by the Scottish Government (1) and is required by our own Health Board.

Point of Care Testing can be defined as any pathology test performed by a healthcare professional outside of the environment of a clinical laboratory.
