Welcome! We appreciate your time.

The Town of Stony Plain wants to improve its practice of public participation. Public participation is the active involvement of the public to contribute their concerns, needs and ideas on important issues and consider and use this input to inform decision-making.

This project will provide information to help the Town improve its ongoing work of engaging the public, along with gathering information to understand how the public wants to participate with the Town on matters that are important to them.

The goal of this improved public participation approach is to strengthen civic health, built trust, promote accountability and increase the commitment of all in the way the Town is governed.

“You cannot effectively participate with people you do not know.” – Town of Stony Plain
