The number of people living Downtown has tripled since 2002. During that time, efforts to organize residents have been limited and inconsistent. Recently, a group of Downtown stakeholders and residents have started discussing the creation of a new Downtown resident association, with a working name of Grand Rapids Downtown Residents Council (GRDRC). Assisted by Downtown Grand Rapids Incorporated, the group is working to establish how residents want to participate, what the mission of the organization should be, and how the group could function. Responses from this survey will inform those objectives. Please take approximately 10 minutes to help shape the future of resident voice in Downtown Grand Rapids.
