IT Common Course Initiative: Work To-Date

IT faculty from around the state assembled in May 2014 at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center for the Creating IT Futures Summit 2014. They came to consensus on the six IT common courses they had been working on over the last two years.

In moving forward with additional IT Common Courses, the May 15/16th Summit group came up with 10 courses. Of these ten, the survey results indicated that four courses rose to an acceptable level of consensus. For each of these four courses an overview and learner outcomes have been developed for review/suggestions/edits. Two areas: "At the end of the course, the student may be able to..." and "Prerequisites" are open for suggestions.
