Join your library and early childhood colleagues for an early literacy workshop. You’ll learn how to enhance your storytimes and literacy programming by sharing high-quality early literacy information and modeling with parents and caregivers. The workshop will include an overview and examples of early literacy components in newborn to five-year-old development, the five early literacy practices (sing, talk, read, write, play), and techniques for planning storytimes that reach adults and children.
