On the morning of the 2015 Point-in-Time Homeless Street Count (Wednesday, January 28th), volunteers will be asked to work with expert homeless guides recommended by service providers, and drive and walk all over assigned routes from approximately daybreak to 10am. Volunteers are expected to have a car and a cell phone, be willing to help with transportation needs, and be able to walk approximately 2-3 miles if necessary. Additionally, all volunteers are asked to attend a one-hour training session prior to count day. This training is scheduled for January 21st, 2015 at the Veterans Memorial Building @ 649 San Benito Street, Room 203 from
Hollister, CA 95023 from 3pm to 4pm. A virtual training presentation is available via email request at hannah@appliedsurveyresearch.org.
