The SBIR Proposal Writing Workshop (formerly PIII Playbook) is an Arizona Commerce Authority structured program of training and technical assistance, enabling high-growth potential small technology firms to compete more effectively for federal SBIR/STTR Phase I and II awards and ultimately commercialize their innovations in Phase III.

The SBIR Proposal Writing Workshop prepares business owners, especially woman-owned, socially and economically disadvantaged and veteran-owned, to write compelling SBIR/STTR grant applications with state-of-the-art proposal development workshops, government cost accounting and SBIR Data Rights as well as individualized coaching/mentoring.

Companies selected for this training program will receive about 16 hours of professional training and technical assistance (16 hours of group instruction)

Classroom:

• Proposal writing workshop - 8 hours - lead by Sharon Ballard with EnableVentures. Sharon is recognized as a national SBIR/STTR expert.
• Government accounting workshop - 4 hours - lead by Arizona-owned BeachFleischman, a "Top 200" CPA firm in the US.
• IP Considerations/SBIR Data Rights Workshop - 4 hours - lead by attorney Rob Iussa, Iussa Law.
