1. Product Developer

Hi, Ramit Sethi here.

I'm looking for a Product Developer to help my product team with market research, content management, and overall assistance in the development of my premium programs.

This is not an easy role. You’ll be digging through huge amounts of research (competitive, surveys, emails, and other sources). You’ll be making sense of disparate data to help us create positioning, feature scope, and delivery methods. You should be extremely detail-oriented and willing to do hours of uninterrupted research to answer a single question. If you were coddled as a child, please don’t apply.

The role is remote and part-time. Extraordinary candidates will be invited to become full-time employees with IWT.

Details:
*Must have deep experience and knowledge of IWT material. Ideally you've signed up for several of my paid programs already, and know them inside and out
*Product development or marketing experience is a plus, but not required. More important is your resourcefulness, creativity, empathy (can you get inside the minds of customers?) and ability to analyze/synthesize information
*Approx. 10 hours per week to start
*Compensation: $20/hour

Question Title

* 1. What is the extent of your experience with information products?

Please be as detailed as possible, and give examples.

Question Title

* 2. Which of my paid products have you purchased (not counting my book)?

Question Title

* 3. Take a look at the IWT product catalog above. Given what you know about IWT and IWT readers, what are the top 3 products you think I should create next?

Give a title, subtitle, and 1-line description for each.

Question Title

* 4. Select ONE of your ideas above and write a brief (<300 word) summary on it.

Some questions to get you started: What is it? Who would buy it? What would they get out of it? What techniques, strategies or frameworks would it include? Why would it be a good addition to the IWT product portfolio?

Question Title

* 5. Pick one of my currently existing products. What 1-3 aspects of the product would you improve and how/why?

Question Title

* 6. Who are you?
