Ten years ago, Poynter NewsU opened its virtual campus. Our goals were modest: to help journalists get better. Our expectations were modest. We knew NewsU could work for journalists and, increasingly, journalism students and educators. But we didn’t expect the overwhelming response we've received.
Now, with more than 350 courses and 300,000 registered users, we’re working to make Poynter NewsU even better.
We’re adding more courses to help the industry embrace and conquer the digital transformation in journalism. We’re becoming more global, more technical and more dynamic. Of course, we want to ensure that we do it well, so we'll need to prioritize.
In the end, we're out to transform the way the journalism industry looks at training.
