1. Welcome To The Curve Lake First Nation Community Survey

The Curve Lake First Nation is taking steps to make changes that put our community in charge of important aspects of our lives. One of the first steps to doing that is to examine the rules we use to elect our leadership.

Currently, Curve Lake has elected our leadership using a system that is part of the Indian Act (Section 74). We want to know if the community wants to keep the current election process in place or take control of this function by way of a Custom Election Code.

This survey will be open from February 23rd to April 2nd, 2013. It is estimated that this survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. Once it is completed, you will be entrered into a draw to win an Apple iPad!

Survey respondents must be a member of the Curve Lake First Nation and 16 years of age or older to participate in this survey. For that reason, this survey does request personal information.

Shagi Consulting Services understands the need to protect your identity. At no point in time will your responses be associated with your name and at no point in time will the Curve Lake First Nation be provided with a list of respondents. The First Nation will only be provided with a collective of responses by all survey participants.
