Our mission at the IoF is to create the environment and understanding for fundraisers to excel.

With next year’s UK general election fast approaching, we are engaging with our members to develop a manifesto for fundraising. We want to hear from you – this is your opportunity to tell us what your priorities are and what changes you want to see which will help you be more successful in your fundraising.

Through ongoing dialogue with government, engagement with members, and the work of our Policy Advisory Board and Special Interest Groups over the last year or so, we have been working to identify policy areas that we’d now like to formally seek all of our members views on. This includes not just what we want to see from the next Government, but also what our priorities should be at IoF for influencing the wider policy environment. Please note that this is a draft document and that no decisions have yet been made as to whether the IoF will adopt them formerly.

The responses that we receive through this consultation will be fed back to our Board and directly influence what we publicly ask for in our manifesto. We hope that every one of our members will take part and ensure that their voice is heard.

This consultation will close on 18th April 2014. If you have any questions on any of the parts of the draft manifesto or would like to discuss them further, please email danielf@instutitute-of-fundraising.org.uk

I very much look forward to hearing your views and working with you to develop policy that best reflects your priorities.

All the best
Daniel Fluskey
