MMI is now accepting nominations for the 2015 MMI Industry Leadership Awards. The Industry Leadership Awards recognize firms for innovation, achievement and growth over the past year in advisory solutions.
For 2015, a total of six MMI Industry Leadership Awards will be awarded. The Awards are organized into three major categories:
• Sponsor Firms
• Investment Managers
• Technology or Service Providers
Please note the following process guidelines:
• Nominations may be submitted by any MMI member and must be transmitted via this online process no later than Friday, March 13th at 5pm Eastern time.
• Self-nominations are allowed – even encouraged.
• All nominations must be accompanied by a brief supporting statement of 50-250 words. Nominations that are not accompanied by the requisite supporting statement will not be considered.
• The MMI Industry Leadership Awards Committee, which consists of representatives from 25 firms representing all segments of the MMI membership, will select the finalists for each of the six Awards.
• The Award winners will be determined by a vote of MMI’s principal contacts at each MMI member firm. These individuals will receive an online ballot the week of March 23rd to cast their votes among the finalists.
• The Award winners will be announced at the MMI Industry Leadership Awards dinner on Wednesday, April 22 during the 2015 MMI Annual Convention in Charlotte.
SPONSOR FIRM CATEGORIES
• Advisory Solutions Sponsor Firm of the Year – The sponsor firm that made a meaningful contribution to innovation within the advisory solutions industry and exemplified overall excellence, achievement and growth
• Advisory Solutions Sponsor Distribution Team of the Year – The sponsor firm that exhibited the most effective distribution strategy and execution, successfully linking marketing and sales, and achieving significant absolute and relative growth in net sales
INVESTMENT MANAGER CATEGORIES
• Advisory Solutions Emerging Manager of the Year – The emerging investment manager that made a meaningful contribution to innovation within the advisory solutions industry and exemplified overall excellence, achievement and growth
• Advisory Solutions Established Manager of the Year – The established investment manager that made a meaningful contribution to innovation within the advisory solutions industry and exemplified overall excellence, achievement and growth
• Advisory Solutions Manager Distribution Team of the Year – The investment manager that exhibited the most effective distribution strategy and execution, successfully linking marketing and sales, and achieving significant absolute and relative growth in net sales
TECHNOLOGY OR SERVICE PROVIDER CATEGORY
• Advisory Solutions Technology or Service Provider of the Year – The technology or service provider that made a meaningful contribution to innovation within the advisory solutions industry while exemplifying overall excellence and the qualities valued by managers, program sponsors and financial advisors
