Help prioritise where money should be spent on reducing water pollution |
What is this and why are we doing it?
Defra wants to help local organisations in a water catchment - local authorities, river trusts, catchment hosts and partners, water companies - tackle water pollution. One way to help is to prioritise what actions they could choose to spend their money on.
In order to prioritise, please help us estimate the effectiveness of actions that improve the water environment. Local actors can then be guided in taking action, starting with those actions estimated to have the highest benefits compared to their costs.
We plan to close the survey around Friday 17 January 2014 and send the results back to those who inputted so they can see which actions come top. Interim results are displayed once you have completed the survey. Depending on the results we will then decide on next steps.
