GHI/CSACL Ground Handling Industry Survey (2) |
1. GHI/CSACL Survey of the Ground Handling Industry
Despite being an integral component of the air transport value chain, there is very little data available describing the Ground Handling Industry as a whole. This is to the detriment of the organisations involved in the industry, both individually and collectively. It threatens to undermine the financial value of individual companies as their market share is uncertain and their financial performance and efficiency levels relative to their peers are not known, making Merger and Acquisition activities more difficult. It also restricts the efforts of the industry when seeking to represent its views to governments on issues such as industry structure and regulation, security and compensation for major disruptive events such as the Volcanic Ash cloud.
Ground Handling International, asa (airport services association - formerly IAHA) and CSACL, an independent aviation consultancy, have combined to launch this survey to gather some basic information on the industry. The intention is to publish aggregate information, with contributors of data receiving a substantial discount on price.
Participants are assured of complete confidentiality, with no company being identified individually and outputs limited to industry level information, averages or distributions with ‘outliers’ being eliminated, and with no possibility of identity being deduced from the context of the information or chart.
Your participation in this survey would be greatly appreciated.
Please provide as accurate data as possible. We recognise the time that this may take, so if accurate data would be too time consuming to extract, approximately correct information is better than no information!
There are only 5 questions in total and you should be able to complete the survey in less than 5 minutes.
If you need to exit this survey, to save the data on a page you have been working on, click on the ‘next’ button at the bottom of the page. To return to your survey, click on the link in our original e-mail to you.
