The City of San Diego Commission for Arts and Culture provides funding on a reimbursement basis to nonprofit organizations through two programs. Please refer to the Funding Page of the Commission’s website to make sure that you are submitting the correct Intent to Apply Form. This form is for the Creative Communities San Diego Program (CCSD). Please complete this form by November 28, 2014.

You must be able to answer "Yes" to all three parts of Question 3 in order to be eligible to apply to the CCSD.

Use of a Fiscal Sponsor

The Commission allows groups that want to apply to the CCSD program but have not yet achieved a 501(c)3 status from the IRS to apply through a Fiscal Sponsor. In these cases, the Fiscal Sponsor becomes the applicant, and the Commission will enter into a contract with the Fiscal Sponsor if the application is successful. The use of a Fiscal Sponsor is limited to a maximum of three years.

This Eligibility Form and all other paperwork must be completed by the Fiscal Sponsor on behalf of the implementing organization.

The Application Deadline is January 31, 2015.

FY16 begins on July 1, 2015 and ends on June 30, 2016.

If you have any questions, please email Gary Margolis, Funding Program Manager
