Module 3 (Biological): Phases and Modes of Scientific Practice Activity Reflection

The purpose of the TSI lesson reflection is to help you reflect on your implementation of this activity and to collect information about how you conducted the activity. Please have your lesson plan and the Exploring Our Fluid Earth (EOFE) activity with you when completing this reflection to help you answer the items.
In addition to allowing you to reflect on this lesson, the TSI lesson reflection allows us to see how closely teachers are following the EOFE curriculum. We will use this information for possible modifications to the professional development and curriculum and for reporting project implementation to the funding agency.

The TSI Phases of Inquiry ONLY (if you choose this option, you should have already taught the Modes in Mod 2). Followed, or closely followed, student activity "Phases and Modes of Scientific Practice" from Module 2 (just following the phases portion of this activity.) In this activity, students listed activity steps, assigned each step to a phase, and drew a phase diagram.

The TSI Phases of Inquiry ONLY (if you choose this option, you should have already taught the Modes in Mod 2). Followed, or closely followed, the "Water Density Stations: Learning about TSI Phases and learning cycles through water density" activity, thus teaching your students the TSI Phases in a similar way to how you learned them in the Module 1: Physical workshop.
