Thanks for taking a few minutes to help set the course for Avaaz's future! As a people-powered movement, it's up to all of us to set our priorities. The poll takes a few minutes, so feel free to skip questions if you don’t have time, but every answer makes a difference!

Question Title

* 1. Avaaz's ambitious mission calls us to close the gap between the world we have and the world most people everywhere want. Safeguarding our health and food, including from GMOs

Building our 'high level' lobbying team to push our grassroots campaigns

Expanding the size of our global community
Doing more "offline" action such as marches, protests and meet-ups
Strengthening our Community Petitions site to help more members start and win campaigns

Question Title

* 3. Our priorities will guide us, but there will still be room for Avaaz to work on many more individual campaigns. Please choose your top 3. (only one answer per column)

  1 2 3
Carbon Cuts to Save the Planet - Push for the EU, Brazil and US (our best hopes for progressive leadership) to agree ambitious carbon cuts, building momentum for a global climate deal in 2015.
Education for All - 60 million children aren’t allowed to go to school. Push governments to cough up the funds to end this injustice by 2015.
Womanifesto! - Build on our success in Delhi with a manifesto of concrete commitments to protect women’s rights that we press at election time in India, South Africa and other key countries.
100% Clean - Send a signal to markets that the days of fossil fuels are numbered by getting our cities, companies and national governments to commit to 100% clean, renewable energy.
Climate Leadership: The Human Element - Organise a retreat of climate ministers and key leaders to build the friendship, vision and trust - the human element - needed to get a global climate deal.
Palestine: Peace over Profit - Illegal Israeli “settlements” are colonies designed to make a free Palestinian state, and peace, impossible. Build on already strong momentum to get banks, corporations and countries to stop buying products manufactured in these settlements.
End the Rape Trade - Forced sex trafficking happens because organised crime and corrupt officials work together - target the 5 worst places for this trade and offer up to a $1 million reward for info leading to conviction of the corrupt public officials who let this abuse continue.
A New United Nations - The UN is often a weak and rudderless body, but it could be a powerhouse of vision. Campaign for a strong new Secretary-General and a bold agenda to fight climate change, foster democracy and promote peace.
Change the Media - A research study and campaign targeting the flaws in our media, particularly the pervasive culture of cynicism, pressing for top editors to launch internal reforms.
Syria Ceasefire - Progress between Iran and the US on nuclear issues promises hope for Syria. Pressure Iran (the Syrian regime’s main backer), and the US/EU to come to an agreement to press all sides in Syria’s war into an unconditional ceasefire to stop the killing while talks continue.
Challenge Monsanto - Raise money for a global seed bank and offer a GMO-free alternative, undermining the firm's strong arm tactics with small farmers.
1 Million March to Save the World - Show the public demand for action on climate change -- organise a massive 1 million person march in New York the day before the UN Climate Summit.
US Corruption Most Wanted - Campaign to unseat the most corrupt politicians in the US Congress - 2 Democrats and 2 Republicans. Target both parties to build a broad movement to counter hyper-corruption that affects many global issues.
