The Joint Finance Committee plan to eliminate the separate IRIS program and allow out of state for-profit insurance companies to run Family Care is not what Wisconsin needs. We are planning an advocacy day on Tuesday, June 9th. We will meet at the Senior Center at 330 W Mifflin St Madison at 9:30; host a press event there are 10 and then march to the Capitol for visits with legislators from 10:30am to 1:30pm. We are looking for at least 100 people, but hopefully more, to join us! We will meet with legislators to let them know that the JFC plan is not what Wisconsin needs.
