The Liberal National Governments at Federal and State levels have initiated a two week token consultation with “stakeholders” before deciding on what areas of the Work Health and Safety laws will be reduced. The LNP is labelling your workplace safety protections as “Red Tape”.
Unions have set up the following submission generator to enable workers and their health and safety representatives submit a concise submission in the short time that is available.
Deidentified submissions will be summarised in a report to be posted on the ACTU and your state Trades and Labour Council website and will contribute to their broader submissions. Your submission will be forwarded to Safe Work Australia and your state Regulator for their consideration in the review.If you do not wish for your submission to be forwarded to the Regulator please answer no to the final question 18.
