Participatory budgeting is recognised internationally as a way for local people to have a direct say in how, and where, public funds can be used to address local requirements. The Scottish Government supports Participatory Budgeting as an innovative tool for community engagement.

To develop our knowledge of participatory budgeting in Scotland, the Scottish Government is funding a one day learning event, hosted by SCDC, Faith in Community Scotland and The PB Network to learn from those who have previously been involved in participatory budgeting.

In advance of the learning event, we would like to know more about existing and previous participatory budgeting initiatives in Scotland.

In view of this, it would be very helpful if you could complete this short survey to help us develop PB in Scotland.
