Introduction

Elodea, an invasive freshwater aquatic plant known to threaten fish habitat, disrupt recreational activities, and lower property values, is spreading across Alaska. We need the public’s help containing it ADNR is collecting voluntary data about the movement of recreational equipment between potentially impacted waterways. This brief 10 question survey will help ADNR better understand how Elodea spreads and what areas are at high risk. All information is anonymous and will help prioritize future efforts to look for and address Elodea infestations.
