In September of this school year, Spring Branch AFT asked our members how their school year was going thus far especially as it related to their planning and preparation period provided by state law. Nearly half of all respondents stated that they were not receiving their full planning time and were being required to attend either group meetings, ARD’s, or asked to perform other duties.

The purpose of this survey is to gain further input as we move forward to discuss planning and preparation time. All respondent’s individual answers will be kept confidential, and the overall results will be used to help AFT further enforce the laws that provide time for educators to plan. For questions, please contact our local office by calling 713/468-4700. We appreciate your time to complete our short survey.
