Welcome!

Thanks for agreeing to help the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) with this survey on job-search methods. The purpose of this survey is to collect information about the types of activities people engage in when searching for a job. Your answers will help us improve questions and interviewing procedures for BLS surveys that collect information about employment and job-search activities.

This survey is voluntary and your answers will be used for research purposes only. We expect that the survey will take no more than 15 minutes to complete, and you may stop at any time. This survey has been approved by OMB under control number 1220-0141, with an expiration date of February 28, 2015. Without a currently valid number BLS would not be able to conduct this survey.

Please note that this survey is being administered by SurveyMonkey.com and resides on a server outside of the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) domain. The BLS cannot guarantee the protection of survey responses and advises against the inclusion of personally-identifiable information--such as your full name, phone number, e-mail address, etc.--in any response.

We greatly appreciate your feedback! If you have any questions about the survey, feel free to contact Scott Fricker (fricker.scott@bls.gov) for more information.
