The Center for Faculty Development's Office for Women's Careers is offering a Faculty Mentoring Program to our women postdoctoral fellows. MGH is committed to building a culture of mentoring and to supporting the careers of our women trainees and this program is a step in this process.
The program is launching in February 2014 and we are writing to ask you, as a research faculty member, to participate as a mentor. The program will help you build important skills for all of your current and future mentoring relationships. As a mentor, you will provide coaching, feedback, support and career and personal guidance to an MGH postdoctoral fellow. In addition, we hope this program provides a unique opportunity to bring our research community together during the year in a spirit of collaboration and "giving back."
