Introduction
Dear YAPA members and friends,
The YAPA Policy Priorities 2012-2015 survey is a chance for you to tell us exactly where we should be placing our effort over the next few years, as we shape the public agenda affecting young people throughout the first term of the new NSW Government.
Earlier in 2011, we asked youth services and workers to complete a loooong survey on their work and got a great response (thanks again!). This information will shape our work for the youth services sector over the coming years, and already we are chasing up some great ideas it has generated!

So this time, we’re focussing on the other side of our work – trying to influence the many social policies and decisions that affect the lives of young people in NSW.
On the pages that follow, you’ll be asked to tell us what youth issues matter most, what we should be doing on those issues and whether you’d be willing and able to support our work with your time, expertise and even contributing to making some of our ideas possible!
You can give us lots of feedback or only a little. It’s up to you. We promise to take it all on board and think hard about how we can best work in 2012-2015 to change the lives of young people for the better.
Closing date for this survey will be Friday, 3 February 2012.
