Welcome to My Survey
Resilient Wilco represents an initiative in our county to increase awareness of the effect that Adverse Childhood Experiences have on physical, mental, emotional, and social health issues later in life. The members of the Resilient Wilco group were so impressed with the research data from the Adverse Childhood Experience (ACE) Study and other studies, they were motivated to figure out how to disseminate this information to the community and encourage action plans toward building resilience.
You are welcome to take the short ACE questionnaire below. Please know that this is not a health screening tool; but rather, a survey that simply rates the toxic stress dose that you may have experienced as a child. This score is helpful only to highlight the fact that the higher the score, the higher the risk for poor health outcomes later in life, per the ACE Study results. However, everyone’s story is different, and many people also have encountered positive childhood experiences that mitigated those possible negative impacts.
