Waterloo & Cedar Falls Consolidated Plan and Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice

Waterloo and Cedar Falls are currently developing their 5-year Consolidated Plans to improve housing options and encourage community development throughout the cities.

A second plan, the Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice, will assess whether all residents of the cities have similar choices for housing regardless of their race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, religion, disability, or whether they have children.

These studies are required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for Waterloo and Cedar Falls to continue receiving Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME) funds.
