Have you ever experienced sexual harassment at university?
The following study is evaluating the role of gender and sexual orientation in determining academic and health outcomes for university students who have experienced sexual harassment.

Who is eligible to participate?
To participate in the following study, you must be enrolled as an internal, undergraduate student in a South Australian university, and 18 or older.

What does participation involve?
Participation in this study will involve providing answers to an online questionnaire. This will include basic, non-identifying information about yourself. The questionnaire should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. While undertaking the questionnaires you are free to withdraw from the study. However, once you submit your survey we are unable to remove your response as it will be impossible to identify your individual data.

The following questionnaire is confidential. Please do not provide your name within any of the provided spaces. The researchers will take every care to keep data confidential, and no information that could potentially lead to the identification of an individual will be released, unless required by law. Anonymous data will be stored on the survey platform, where the researchers will have access to the data, and any identifying material will be removed from responses as early as possible. Email addresses, should you choose to provide one, will be stored on password protected platforms. However, the researcher cannot guarantee the anonymity of material transferred by email or Internet.

Once collected, data will be exported and stored on a password-protected USB, and removed from the survey platform. Collected data will be stored for five years.

What are the risks or benefits for me?
Whilst minimal risk is associated with participation in this study, the following questionnaire does involve questions about experiences of sexual harassment, therefore some questions may cause discomfort. Should you feel the need to seek assistance during participation or at the end of completing the following survey, please refer to the list of counselling and support services provided at the beginning and end of the questionnaire. All participation in the following study is voluntary, and participants are free to withdraw at any point. It is not anticipated that participants will experience harm or direct benefit.

Participants will also go into the draw to win one of six $50 Coles/Myer giftcards.
