Please feel free to bring a specific need to our attention by completing and submitting the HATS Transportation Need Form below.

We also encourage you to make your municipality aware of the issue. HATS staff works with the region's municipalities to address their transportation needs using the region's allotment of federal funding. The description form is the first step in the process.

You may also download a PDF version of the form -- with information about the 2040 Regional Transportation Plan -- and email it to us or send a hard copy to Tri-County Regional Planning Commission, HATS Project Development, 112 Market St., 2nd Fl., Harrisburg PA, 17101.

For information on project development, see bottom of page.

PROJECT DEVELOPMENT:

Project development is the process by which HATS staff works with the region’s municipalities to address their transportation needs using the region’s allotment of federal funding.

Once a need form is received, HATS staff discusses the issue with both the sponsor and the municipality to gather additional information and determine possible funding options. The municipality's presence is essential in these discussions since most federal funding sources require a local match.
