2018 Florida Student Textbook and Instructional Materials survey provides a voice for you, the student, to share information about the cost of your textbooks and instructional materials, your preferences for purchasing and interacting with them, and the impact of textbook costs is having on your education.

The results of this survey will provide Florida Virtual Campus, education leaders, and policy makers an understanding of Florida’s higher education student perceptions of the impact of textbook costs on their academic decisions and academic progress.

Florida’s 40 higher education institutions are being asked to invite their students to take part in the 2018 Student Textbook Costs Survey. This online questionnaire is a follow-up to the 2016 Student Textbook Survey.

The survey takes 10 minutes or less to complete. Please answer each question.  Your answers will be anonymous and aggregated together for analysis and cannot be linked to you. All data will be stored in a password protected electronic format. The results of the study will be used for scholarly purposes only.

To participate the survey, you must be age 18 or older.

By agreeing to participate you acknowledge that you have read this information and agree to participate in this research. You are free to withdraw at any time. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Robin Donaldson at rdonaldson@flvc.org .
