Your Thoughts on the Tahoe Boating App Question Title NEXT The 2018 Shoreline Plan was adopted by TRPA after more than 3 years of stakeholder input and engagement. The plan includes stronger boater education and enforcement of no-wake zones at Lake Tahoe.Lake Tahoe has no-wake zones to keep boaters and swimmers safe. Motorized boats must maintain a safe distance from shore and from paddlers, swimmers and structures.For everyone’s safety, please stay under 5 mph when boating within: 600 feet of shore 100 feet of paddlers and swimmers 200 feet of shoreline structures Emerald Bay To help educate boaters and paddlers, TRPA – in collaboration with the League to Save Lake Tahoe – has developed the Tahoe Boating App. Before continuing with the survey, please download the app and spend a few minutes playing around with it, even if you’re not on the water.
