In recognition of the fact that marijuana is still federally illegal, that “regulations” have not stopped the black market or reduced illegal marijuana activities, and instead have brought negative impacts to neighborhoods and communities such as increased youth use, increased drugged driving and motor vehicle crashes, and increased emergency room visits, I support the North Coastal Prevention Coalition’s efforts to keep the cities of Oceanside, Vista and Carlsbad free from commercialized marijuana-related businesses and land uses.
