Thank you for your interest in being a part of the New Student Programs team! Please familiarize yourself with the position you are applying for and make sure you thoroughly follow the application instructions in order to be considered for an interview. The application process includes attending a mandatory information session, completing an application packet, participating in a group interview, and having an individual interview.

To be eligible to apply for the Peer Mentor position, every candidate must attend one of the mandatory information sessions. Information sessions are listed below.

Application Packet
A completed application packet includes a completed online application, professional résumé, and (3) references.
Résumés must be emailed to fye@govst.edu or dropped off at B1215 by July 8, 2019 in order for your application to be considered complete. You are welcome to complete this online application before you submit your résumé. Your résumé must be professional. For assistance with writing your résumé, please contact GSU Career Services at 708.235.3974 or career@govst.edu.

Please have all reference information available before you begin this application. At least two of the three references must be from GSU faculty or staff. References will be contacted.

Please Note: Having a Graduate Assistanship makes graduate students ineligible to apply for the Peer Mentor position.
