Survey Invitation

We invite you to participate in a research project exploring Ontario educators’ and administrators' perspectives and experiences integrating local school-community resources with their science teaching or school planning.

Your participation would aid in understanding how to improve the science teaching and learning experiences of your students through a connection to the local community and how to support schools in these endeavours.

All your survey responses will remain confidential and anonymous. The online survey program is set up to not track any identifiable information from survey respondents. Should you choose to participate, you will complete the forthcoming survey that will take approximately 10 minutes to complete depending on your responses.

At the end of the survey, you will have the opportunity to submit your email to learn more about the science education and local communities project. Those respondents entering an email will have a chance to win one of four $25.00 Indigo gift cards. Your anonymity will be kept throughout the survey unless you submit your email.

This survey is part of a larger research project led by Professor Xavier Fazio in the Department of Educational Studies at Brock University. If you have any pertinent questions about your rights as a research participant, please contact the Brock University Research Ethics Officer (905 688-5550 ext. 3035, reb@brocku.ca).

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me (see below for contact information).
