What does resilience mean to you?

Communities and councils impacted by fires and other disasters across southern NSW know we need to do things differently. Surveys across the region* show climate change and adaptation are high priorities for communities. We are seeing these changes as long term stressors, such as drought, and as shocks, such as floods and bushfires. This region is experiencing increasingly severe droughts, storms, heatwaves, bushfires, floods, pest/weed/disease outbreaks, sea level rise and coastal erosion.

We need to learn from you. What do you most value? What are your capacities and capabilities to protect the things you most value? How do you make decisions about protecting what is important?

The results from this survey will inform the development of the Resilience Blueprint. Your participation will give us a better picture of where you want to go on your resilience journey and what options and supports are needed to get you there. At the end of the survey are some questions about you so we can ensure that all voices from your community are heard. The survey results are anonymous.
