Introduction

In support of the preparation of a new Royal Oak Master Plan, City leaders are conducting a survey early in the process with a focus on general topics - from household composition, neighborhood activity, and daily life, to overall mood concerning the community. Responses will give the project team ideas of strategic issues for further analysis and exploration leading into the master plan charrette in May 2023, where proposals for the future will be made. Later surveys will ask for more specific feedback on proposals and input received throughout the charrette.
A Master Plan is a long-range planning policy document that guides the community for the next 10-20 years on a variety of topics, such as land use, development, housing and neighborhoods, infrastructure, transportation, environmental preservation, and economic development. 
To ensure the Master Plan captures the wants, needs, and wishes of the community, we want to hear from YOU – Royal Oak resident, property owner, business owner, patron, or community stakeholder! 
This Master Plan is for your community and we want to ensure Royal Oak remains a wonderful place to live, work, and play!
