Town of Aurora-Official Plan Survey

The Town of Aurora is updating their Official Plan.

What is an Official Plan?

An Official Plan is a long range planning and policy document that directs growth and development within the Town, and outlines the goals, objectives and policies to manage that growth. Official Plans manage the social, economic, built and natural environment priorities of the municipality.

Why do we need to update the Official Plan?

To conform to Provincial and Regional Policies.
Direct growth and development over the long term (2041), while considering important social, economic and environmental priorities and objectives.
Implement the Town’s master plans and studies.
