2013 Budget Request for New Program |
This is a form for those who are interested in submitting a new budget request for the Diocese of Maine 2013 budget. If your program group, committee, or ministry is currently funded in the 2012 budget, you do not need to complete this form.
Below you will find questions that ask you to show how your new request for funding conforms with the Seven Criteria for Mission that were adopted by Diocesan Convention last October.
In addition to completing this form, please craft a line item budget detailing how your ministry or program group would use any resources provided by the Diocese of Maine. Please send your budget to Pam McLellan at pmclelln@episcopalmaine.org by June 15.
When your request is received it will be assigned to one of the four diocesan commissions which will meet to determine the allocation of block grants prior to July 13. The block grant allocations will be forwarded to the Finance Committee which will make a recommendation to Diocesan Council on September 8. Upon consideration and approval by Diocesan Council, Diocesan Convention will vote on the 2013 budget in October.
