The aim of the National Clinical Trials Governance Framework (NCTGF) is to embed clinical trial services into routine health care provision to enhance safety and quality standards and health outcomes for the community.

The NCTGF aligns with the Commission’s National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards (second edition).

The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (the Commission) is developing the NSQHS Standards (third edition). A revised Clinical Trials framework or module will be developed as part of this work.

Your feedback will help shape the NCTGF and ensure clinical trial services are a key part of health service organisation operations – now and into the future.
