THE NAES EARLY CHILDHOOD CENSUS
ABOUT THIS SURVEY
NAES is launching a new data collection tool designed specifically for Early Childhood Education programs. By completing this survey, you will contribute to vital data about Episcopal preschools and childcare programs for analytical, comparative, and reporting purposes. The data will include:
- Enrollment and school size
- Tuition and fees
- Student and staff demographics
- Sessions and school days offered
- Types of programs (such as DAP, Reggio, outdoor focus, Montessori)
- Employee compensation
- School board composition
An overview of this data will be made available to all schools that participate. NAES members will have full access to data, including reports generated by NAES.
HOW TO COMPLETE THE SURVEY
This survey should be completed by the Head of School. It will take approximately 15 minutes. If you need to prepare your answers, you can use this worksheet (add it to your own Google Drive and share with your colleagues).

All data will be aggregated and anonymized prior to producing any reports. No reports or presentations will identify individual schools.
