[Registration] ECC-SAL International Virtual Mooting Competition 2021 Final

Essex Court Chambers (“ECC”) and the Singapore Academy of Law (“SAL”) warmly invite you to watch the ECC-SAL International Virtual Mooting Competition 2021 Final! Advancing after several gruelling rounds involving over 20 other teams of promising young advocates, the finalists now argue their case before an illustrious panel of judges comprising a High Court Judge from the Supreme Court of Singapore, a Federal Court Judge from Malaysia, and a Queen Counsel from the Essex Court Chambers in London. 

The moot problem is based on a fictional case over an international commercial dispute governed by English law to be heard and determined in the Singapore International Commercial Court. The Final will be heard as an appeal to the Singapore Court of Appeal. The winning team will be offered an all expenses paid two-week internship at Essex Court Chambers in London, one of the leading commercial sets of barristers’ chambers in England.
