Making Jewish Places is in an initiative of Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta and focuses on increasing Jewish engagement in suburban Atlanta communities by supporting radically welcoming, collaborative neighborhood-based programming. This is accomplished by engaging people where they already live and empowering the local community. Making Jewish Places grants are awarded to projects and programs that Impact residents and Jewish Life in and around the Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Roswell, And East Cobb communities.

Requirements and How to Apply 
A project will be considered only once per calendar year, though an organization or individual can apply for more than one project within a calendar year. 
To keep everyone as safe and healthy as possible, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all programs must follow current CDC health guidelines, including face coverings, social distancing, and must take place outdoors.  
Applications and awards are accepted and awarded ranging from $500-$5000. 
Individuals can receive up to $500 
A single organization can receive up to $2500 
A collaborative approach (including 2+ organizations) can receive up to $5000
