Located in Maple Community Centre, the Maple Library opened in 1991 and was renovated in 2006. The Maple Library is a branch library that offers collections reflecting the needs of the nearby community.

In 2016, the City opened the Civic Centre Resource Library located on the City Hall campus, about 500 metres south of the Maple Library. The Resource Library is a larger facility with a more extensive collection, serving the Maple community and beyond.

A decision has not yet been made about the future of the Maple Library. Information from this survey will assist in determining the preferred strategy for delivering effective and efficient library services in the Maple community.
