Tangipahoa Parish Schools Magnet Transfer

A TPSS student may apply for a transfer from their home attendance zone to a magnet school for the purpose of participating in a magnet program. The Tangipahoa Parish School System shall provide transportation or, if unavailable, travel compensation to all students who are granted Magnet Transfer status. There is an exception for Montessori schools: Students who reside north of Highway 40 will receive bus transportation to Roseland Montessori, and students who reside south of Highway 40 will receive bus transportation to Hammond Westside Montessori.

*If you have multiple students who need to apply for a magnet transfer, you must complete this application for each student individually.

*Students that are approved for a magnet transfer cannot be in the Virtual Learning Option program.
