Volunteer Overview

The Lifesaving World Championships Adelaide 2018 run from Friday 16 November - Sunday 2 December 2018.

We are expecting over 4000 lifesavers from around the world to attend and compete in this event, which includes National Teams, Interclub Teams, Masters, IRBs, Surf Boats and more!

This event will not be possible without the help of volunteers, who will be needed across a range of areas.

You do not need to know about lifesaving sport in order to volunteer, there are a variety of roles available in admin, accreditation, operations and special events.

Click here to read the position description.

We also need people with specific lifesaving skills - please do not complete this survey.
Volunteers will be provided with training and induction, will receive a uniform and will be fed and watered during shifts. We will also be having a Thank You function at the conclusion of the event.

Volunteers need to have a police check (or equivalent in your state/country). Any volunteers travelling from interstate or overseas will do so at their own expense - unfortunately we are not able to assist with airfares or accommodation.

Volunteers must be over 18 - we will be making a call out closer to the event for nipper and youth participation opportunities.
