Thank you for your interest in the Spring 2020 Food Systems Leadership Retreat! This retreat will take place[Jo1] [SS2]  at the Canby Grove Camp & Retreat Center, in Canby, OR, 45 minutes outside of Portland, from April 27-30.

This hands-on, experiential retreat will focus on three interconnected skills of food systems leaders: the ability to see and understand the whole system we are trying to change (systems thinking); the skill of enabling others to see the system for what it is (facilitation of reflection and dialogue); and the ability to serve as a leader grounded in racial equity, inclusion, and a shared vision for the future.

Because we believe that these skills are so important for leaders from all communities, each participant will receive a full scholarship to cover Retreat tuition, materials, and room and board. If travel costs will prohibit you from attending, we have a limited number of travel scholarships available.

To make these experiences the most meaningful and effective, we limit the number of participants to 25. To help establish regional connections and community, we will prioritize applicants who are working and living in the Northwest area. Priority will be given to leaders who identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, or People of Color).

This application will close at 5PM Pacific Time on Monday, February 24.
