Kava and Kratom Study (Main Group)

Apex Trials is conducting a phase 2, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study to assess the effects of an investigational herbal supplement containing Kava root extract and Kratom leaf powder on self-reported stress and pharmacokinetic profile in healthy adults.

This study will involve two portions, the Main Group and the Sub Group. You cannot participate in both groups. This survey is for those interested in the Main Group.

The Main Group will involve a total of 8 visits to our clinic (located in Guelph, ON) and 1 remote phone call over a 13-week period. This study is compensating up to $2,000 for your time and travel to the clinic. Total compensation will be pro-rated based on the visits you complete.

If you are interested in participating in this study, the following questions will help us determine if you qualify. Please provide complete and honest answers to the questions to ensure this study is a good fit for you. All information collected will be kept confidential and will not be shared without your permission except as required by law. The questionnaire will take approximately 5 to 10 minutes to complete. Your answers will be recorded, but your information will only be used for the purposes of this study.
