Candidate for iNAPS Open Board Positions - Deadline July 15, 2019

As we consider the future leadership of iNAPS in 2019 and beyond, we need board members and officers who can dedicate the time, energy, and commitment to iNAPS, and who collectively have the skills, experience, and connections required for iNAPS to accomplish its organizational goals. The iNAPS Board seeks diversity of age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, experience and geography that are currently under represented. We are seeking new board members to fill open positions who are able to do much of the following (* items are required of everyone):
  • *Attend monthly board meetings (via conference calls or video meeting) 
  • *Participate in at least two committees on a regular basis
  • *Play an active role in thoughtful decision making
  • *Recruit new and returning members, board members, and organizational supporters
  • *Be familiar with and ensure bylaws, policies, and procedures are being followed
  • *Participate in organizational planning and development
  • *Market and promote iNAPS to members and other stakeholders
  • *Invest personal funds to demonstrate commitment to the organization (at this time board members must provide there own funding for attendance at the Annual Conference)
  • Coordinate volunteers
  • Work with individuals and foundations to raise charitable donations
  • Create and/or review business plan and budget
    Identify potential sources of grant funding and assist in the development of grant proposals
  • Assist with advocacy and policy development
  • Write / co-author white papers, articles, research studies
  • Continuously develop new leaders
